Take a Breath
Breathing air is essential for life. It is the very first thing we do when we are born. This is an instinct and naturally we expect the air to be clean but we do not instinctively question the quality of the air that we breathe. However, in recent years the scientific community and global media are increasingly reporting on the links between human health and poor air quality.
Many national bodies and world organizations are addressing this problem. As the health and economic impacts become more apparent they endeavor to set new standards and raise awareness. It is our responsibility to support these global initiatives that will allow you to Take a Breath with total confidence. Our mission with the Take a Breath campaign is to create interest, provide information and raise awareness about indoor and outdoor air pollution.
So Take a Breath and dive with us under the surface of “Air Quality”.
This standard provides the first opportunity for global harmonisation as it proceeds to replace the two existing localised standards; ASHRAE 52.2 which is dominant in USA and EN779:2012 which is dominant in Europe.
