Handte EM-O Compact

The mist separator Handte EM-O Compact is specifically designed for simple and flexible integration into machine tools with smaller air volumes. Thereby the mist extractor provides high separation efficiency on different applications with full lubrication (coolant / oil) or selected Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL). The biggest advantage is that the same filter elements are used.

  • Compact construction for easy machine tool integration
  • One filter for different applications
  • ISO ePM1 80% separation efficiently (filtration) with optional EPA11 or HEPA13 filter
  • Low energy consumption due to low pressure loss
  • Long service life: up to 6,000 hours or 2 years
  • Toolless filter change
  • Plug & play

Specifications

Application
Machining mist applications with full lubrication (coolant/oil) and selected Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL).
Installation options
Thanks to its space-saving and attractive design, the EM-O Compact can be easily integrated into tooling machines. Installation options are top-mount, next to a machine with an optional support rack or in a technical center, e.g. hydraulic area of machine tools. An electrical connection can be easily performed via various available interfaces, following the principle of plug and play.
Comment
The mist separator EM-O Compact is available in two sizes:
- The EM-O Comapct 1.0 can be used with air volumes from 800 – 1,200 m³/h (470 cfm - 700 cfm), depending on the application.
- The EM-O Compact 2.0 can handle air volumes from 2,000 – 2,600 m³/h (1,180 cfm - 1,530 cfm).

The EM-O Compact mist extraction system with its progressive filter design and maximum filter area in the smallest space ensures high separation efficiency and low emission values, better as the technical standard today. Optimised filter media enables the best possible drainage of the separated aerosols during continuous operation what leads to long service life of the filter elements and high plant availability. Especially due to the maximised filter area, the lowest differential pressures are maintained, which guarantee considerable energy savings during continuous operation.
