Application
Needlefelt filter socks and sleeves are typically used in applications such as metalworking, mining, cement processing, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing or biomass and energy generation.
Comment
Filter socks (filter bags) and sleeves are usually installed over metal frames or cages which are then inserted into the dust collector.
The open end of sock filters usually has some kind of internal spring with a single or double cuff what enables it to seal against the hole in which it is inserted in the housing. Alternatively it is raw cut to be fixed onto a spigot and clamped in place.
The open top of the filter sleeve usually has a thicker (square) felt cuff seal sewn on so the heigh and thickness of this are relevant.
