Passive Explosion Isolation Valve

A passive mechanical explosion isolation valve is positioned in the inlet ducting downstream from the dust collector. This mechanical barrier is held open by the process air and is slammed shut by the explosion’s pressure force, preventing flames from propagating further upstream through the ducting.
