GigaPleat box filters are high cleanliness products designed to suit standard air handling units and housings, front loaded or with side access. They use a media made from adsorbents embedded within a pleated three-dimensional non-woven structure to provide removal of molecular contamination.
GigaPleat header filters are constructed from pleated embedded media assembled in metal frames and provide control of molecular contaminants. They deliver high performance and are intended for cleanroom applications, especially in make-up air units and recirculation air units.
The filters are available in a range of standard sizes to suit most common air handling units. They utilise high-quality activated carbon to provide the efficient filtration of volatile organic compounds (VOC), ion exchange resins for bases (especially ammonia) and chemically impregnated activated carbon for acids. GigaPleat box filters are tested for outgassing and particle shedding to fulfil the high cleanliness requirements of cleanroom environments and avoid impairing the lifetime of HEPA and ULPA filters found on the outlet side of air handling units.
