As part of our commitment to mitigate our climate impact, we collaborated with IVL to generate Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for our most popular products. With increasing demand from our customers, we've equipped ourselves to conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to generate more EPDs. Conducting LCA calculations offers us deeper insights into our products' life cycles, allowing us to gauge their environmental impact across various phases. This invaluable data informs our efforts to develop new products or enhance existing ones. Throughout this process, we engage with our suppliers to gather environmental data on the materials they provide. Collaboration at multiple stages is crucial to our collective success.

Our EPDs have been reviewed and approved by an independent certified party, guaranteeing the reliability of the information they contain. Moreover, this is directly linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goal number 12, which focuses on Responsible Consumption and Production.

WHY ARE WE DOING ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATIONS?

We are creating EPDs to provide transparent insight into the genuine environmental impact of our products. This facilitates identifying the specific products and manufacturing stages where we can focus efforts to continually diminish our overall CO2 footprint. Within our EPDs, we incorporate real data from our suppliers, allowing us to assess the environmental impact throughout the material's journey from raw material to delivery to us.
