Camfil Power Systems is a Global Leader within the Gas Turbine and Turbo Machinery Industry supplying Inlet Filters and systems to OEM’s as well as end users. We are currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to grow our market share in Dallas, North of Texas and Oklahoma.  The position and candidate will be located out of the state of Texas. The Company’s replacement filter products are typically sold to and used by utilities, powerplants, refineries, offshore platforms, and pipelines.

The ideal candidate is a resilient, self-starter with a proven track record in new business. Strong computer skills are a must to support sales tools required to sell our value proposition. We also use a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Microsoft Dynamics. Good organization and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently are all very important.

This is a Business to Business sales position targeting executive level decision makers. Camfil Power Systems has a philosophy of selling clean air solutions which takes an elevated approach to the sales process described as total cost of operation (TCO). To be successful in our business requires our Sales Team be creative in their verbal & written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Customers over the phone, email and in person in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Ability to interact and sell effectively at all levels including, but not limited to: Corporate Officers, Plant Engineering and maintenance, Supply Chain Personnel, Operators and other plant support employees.
  • Learning our products with a focus on turbomachinery, life cycle cost, and Sustainability
  • Developing new opportunities through creative thinking and persistent effort

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ Years experience in technical sales role with demonstrated success, preferably in the turbomachinery field
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Positive approach in work environment
  • Willingness to learn everyday on the job
  • Comfortable visiting powerplants, refineries, pipelines… and conducting mechanical equipment surveys

Compensation package includes a base salary (commensurate w/experience), commission program, and generous benefits.
