CityPleat panel filters are light duty solutions to suit a wide range of air handling units and housings. They are made from "combination" media and provide removal of both particulate matter (PM) and molecular contamination.
CityPleat filters are constructed from pleated embedded or combination media that provides control of both particles and molecular contaminants. CityPleat panels provide moderate performance and are intended for low impact IAQ and Comfort applications. Filters are available in a range of standard sizes and thicknesses to suit filter tracks or frames in housings. The panels utilise a broad spectrum carbon to provide efficiency against a very wide range of airborne chemicals. The filters operate with a Rapid Adsorption Dynamics (RAD) mechanism that ensures maximum performance against the multiple chemicals that are typically present in city-centre buildings. Typical particle removal efficiency classifications are Coarse 65% according to ISO16890 and MERV 7 according to ASHRAE 52.2. Actual achieved performance will depend on the filter configuration and airflow. CityPleat filters are disposable. Subject to pressure loss compatibility, CityPleat filters can replace conventional pre-filter panels to provide enhanced IAQ using a single filter. CityPleat filters are also commonly used as temporary solutions, for example during short or medium term construction projects.
