ABOUT THE PROJECT: Our client is a multinational home furnishing company founded more than six decades ago in Northern Europe. They have their India head office located in the industrial city of Gurgaon, near the capital New Delhi in India. Its office is housed in one of Gurgaonâs high-rise commercial buildings. The office occupies a well spread out space of up to 2600 square meters in area and a 12 -feet high roof. The existing HVAC system in the building has in-built prefilters to capture coarse dust particles.
THE PROBLEM
Due to extreme pollution, the PM 1 & PM2.5 levels in the city are reaching an alarming stage. Even inside the office PM2.5 levels were 5 times the safe levels recommended by WHO.
However, being in a leased premise presented our client certain challenges in improving their indoor air filtration:
