Camfil is hiring a Human Resources Manager to support our growing business in the Middle East & Africa region. This role will report to the Managing Director MEA and will have a dotted line to the VP HR & Internal Communication EMEA.
We are looking for a passionate HR Generalist who will drive the people agenda in the Middle East and Africa Region. Business partner attitude and an ability to advise are essential for this role as we expect this position holder to work closely with the Managing Director and be a member of the management team in the UAE. This is a management role, with a small team to address administrative tasks.
This position is based onsite in our offices in Dubai, located in JAFZA, UAE.
Role & Purpose:
- Provide Human Resources management, guidance, and support to the Managing Director, Management & Supervisory Teams, and all personnel involved in the Camfil Group operations activities in the Middle East and African Region.
- Facilitate and ensure timely resourcing of all business activities through the recruitment, retention and motivation of competent people with the requisite skills to positively contribute to the goals and objectives of Camfil MEA and the Camfil Group.
- Plan, organize and implement effective professional development and succession planning programs and processes in response to business needs.
- Enable the establishment and maintenance of a collaborative culture within Camfil MEA and a work environment that optimizes employee well-being, professional development and workplace health and safety.
- Actively promote Equality and Diversity in all relevant aspects of people management.
- Ensure smooth people practice processes such as onboarding, employment relations, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Fully understand the Camfil MEA business and to contribute to the planning, deployment and management of all resources in line with business goals.
- Advise the Managing Director and management team in respect of employment law, safety & health legislation and regulation compliance.
- Be the first point of contact for employees on National Labor Contract, Company Policies, training programs and administrative matters, and ensure that requests are handled in a consistent and timely manner, in accordance with internal policies and national laws/regulations.
- Oversee a timely and correct flux of information within the HR portal in relation to the employees movements (hirings & leavings, contract, role and compensation changes, etc.).
- Maintain the relationship with the Finance department with regards to Payroll and Expense reports.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in the UAE HR operational activities in an HR Generalist role, preferably in medium/small companies with an international business. Minimum 4-5 years of overall HR experience.
- Knowledge of the UAE labor laws, regulations and HR practices.
- Strong business partner attitude.
- A team player and trustful person with the ability to form sound relationships with both external and internal stakeholders, with the ability to handle confidential information.
- Precise, punctual in carrying out the activities, flexible and with spirit of adaptation in a dynamic reality.
- Digital and analytical mindset.
- Fluent English at minimum B2 level, Arabic and/or French will be a plus.
