Despite the global recession, 2009 was a good overall year for Camfil Farr in which the Group demonstrated its strength and readiness to cope with possible market downturns.
The company’s successful performance in 2009 and earlier years has given Camfil Farr a solid platform for developing business further in 2010. “We plan to segmentize our operations further, increasing the potential of the addressable market, and allowing us to develop our markets from different angles and create additional synergies within the Group,” writes CEO Alan O’Connell in his comments to the Annual Report. “We also intend to develop our business units and truly broaden the scope of what we mean by ‘clean air’.”
There are many positive air filtration trends to leverage Camfil Farr’s business, such as new legislation to promote cleaner air and higher indoor air quality, global awareness of greenhouse gases, and the need to save energy and provide a healthier and more productive work environment – something every ventilation system can do with Camfil Farr products.
“All of this will favour the Group’s operations and we welcome the challenge as we continue to upgrade our skills, technology, broaden the product range and make it easier for our customers to do business with us,” says Alan O’Connell.
Camfil Farr’s mission, business segments, markets, organization and 2009 performance are all described in greater detail in the Annual Report.
